Six people from St Albans are arrested in a major Hertfordshire drugs bust.
Simon Aruchanga, 47, of Folly Avenue, St Albans, was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and possession of Class A drug.
Amine Harti, 20, of Hatfield Road, St Albans was charged with being concerned in the provision of a Class A drug that was controlled.
And Wayne Ypey of Bricket Road being involved in the provision of a Class A drug and was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
All three appeared on Thursday, December 7 in Hatfield Remand Court.
In addition, three people were detained in another wave of arrests.
A guy from St Albans was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drug.
A guy from London Colney was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
A 56-year-old woman from St Albans was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to provide.
St Albans Ch Insp Shane O’Neill said: “Following a six-month operation, we’ve detained people we think are treating medication in St Albans.
“I’d want to thank members of the public for providing information that is critical to the police that was used in combination with police intellect to carry out numerous medications warrants now and last.
“We all know people who take drugs commit other sorts of crime also, including residential burglary, to feed their habits, so these arrests are significant.
“We hope some of those will spend Christmas behind bars. Together with other agencies, we will also help the younger and conquer hectic lifestyles and their addictions. ”
Both were among 15 arrested by Herts police for offences that are largely drug-related.

• Zulfiqar Ali, aged 49, of Sleapshyde Lane, St Albans, was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and possession of Class A drug.
• Conrad Thorpe of Denmark Road, Haringey. He appeared on Thursday, December 7 in Hatfield Remand Court.
• Dominic Edwards, aged 34, of Perryhill, Catford, was charged with being in possession, being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and supplying Class A, possession of a specific article. He appeared on Friday, December 8.
• Michak Cornelio, aged 18, of Bressex Avenue, Enfield was charged with possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. He appeared on Thursday, December 7 in Hatfield Remand Court.
• A woman without a fixed address failing to appear in court in connection with a common assault in 2005 and was arrested for immigration issues.
• A 20 year-old guy from Muswell Hill was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and also a article.
• A 27 year-old guy from Borehamwood was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
