Na Piarsaigh 3-15 Ballygunner 2-10

Na Piarsaigh maintained their perfect record from Munster to document a fourth provincial final triumph in seven years, writes Eoghan Cormican.

Na Piarsaigh had the better of the Waterford champions in a match which was slow to begin as it was two years ago.

This win takes the Limerick club to moment on the roll of honor and brings to 11 the amount of games.

A burst of 1-3 without reply between the 35th and 41st moment had pushed Na Piarsaigh into a 1-9 to 1-7 lead and although Peter Hogan trimmed the deficit to the minimal, Shane O’Neill’s fees replied this with three on the hop.
